Example posting:

Rose-Hulman seeks a dynamic, results-oriented professional to serve as a Major Gifts Officer (MGO) advancing the Institute’s mission, vision, and strategic priorities. The MGO will actively manage a portfolio of major-gift level prospects and engage alumni, parents, and friends to secure philanthropic support through an integrated approach to major, principal and planned giving. Their responsibilities will include identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individuals with the capacity and inclination to make significant contributions, while developing and executing donor-specific strategies in collaboration with internal partners.

While Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology is open to candidates anywhere in the United States, the Major Gifts Officer should be able to maintain a regular presence in the central U.S. territory—with a preference for candidates located in (or willing to relocate to) Texas, Oklahoma City, OK, or Kansas City, MO. Proximity within approximately one hour of a major airport is important to support travel requirements, as this position will regularly travel to and throughout this region.
